Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Fouleng

The drive from Zaventem to Fouleng

The route covers about 70 km (44 miles) and normally takes around 59 minutes. Fouleng lies west of the airport, so most of the journey is spent on Belgium's motorway network around Brussels before you switch to smaller regional roads for the final stretch. The Brussels ring is the main variable: on weekday mornings and late afternoons, traffic can add noticeable time. If you have a fixed appointment or a connecting journey, allow a generous buffer. Bad weather can also slow the last part of the trip on narrower country roads.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver handles the whole journey door to door.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you pick depends mainly on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business guests. Choose the larger option if everyone has a full-size suitcase.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: works well for a group of friends, an extended family or colleagues travelling together.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 Seats: intended for larger parties such as wedding guests, sports teams, school groups or company events. Everyone arrives together in one vehicle.

If you travel with bulky luggage, sports equipment or a pushchair, pick a size up so nobody has to squeeze in.

About Fouleng

Fouleng is a small village in the Walloon province of Hainaut, part of the municipality of Silly. The setting is rural, with farmland and quiet lanes rather than big-city infrastructure. Because of this, it helps to have the exact address, or a nearby landmark, ready when you book. That way your driver can head straight to the right door, even if your satnav struggles with village roads.

Meeting point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up without searching the terminal.
