Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Foret

The drive from Brussels Zaventem to Foret

The route covers 390 km (243 miles), and the typical driving time is 3 h 59 m. That is a long trip by Belgian standards, so it helps to plan it as a proper journey rather than a quick hop. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, in heavy rain or winter conditions, or when roadworks slow the motorways. Foret is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request like any other. Booking ahead gives us time to arrange the right vehicle and driver for the distance.

Choosing the right vehicle

On a journey of almost four hours, space matters. Small groups can choose between two private taxi options:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) for solo travellers, couples or a small family with luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) for a group of four who want a private car.

Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Minibuses suit families travelling together, wedding parties, sports teams, corporate groups and tour groups. Pick the size by counting both passengers and bags, and move up a size if you carry a lot of luggage.

About Foret as a destination

Foret is a small place in Belgium, so there is little to say beyond the basics. The exact address matters more than the name alone. When you book, give the full street address, or the name of the property you are going to, so your driver can plan the final stretch accurately. A working mobile number also helps if the driver needs to find a specific entrance or a rural access road. Nearby towns may offer more services, so if you need shops, restaurants or a pharmacy, it is worth checking what is close to your accommodation before you arrive.

Meeting point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

After you collect your luggage, head to Java Coffee House, which is easy to find inside the airport. Your driver waits there with a personalised name sign, so look for your own name and you are ready to go.
