The Drive from BRU to Forest

The route covers 30 km (19 miles) and usually takes about 28 minutes. Most of the trip runs along the Brussels ring road and then through the city to the southern side, where Forest lies. Traffic around Brussels can build up noticeably on weekday mornings and late afternoons, so add a buffer if you have a tight connection or an appointment soon after landing. On a quiet evening or weekend the journey tends to be smooth and close to the typical time.

Forest (Vorst in Dutch) is one of the municipalities that make up the Brussels-Capital Region, in the south of the city. Forest also has its own park, Parc de Forest, and sits next to the Brussels-South railway area, which makes it convenient for onward travel within Belgium.
