Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ezemaal

The drive from Brussels Airport to Ezemaal

Ezemaal lies 51 km (32 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes about 36 minutes. The route leaves the airport area and heads east through Flemish Brabant, so you reach a quiet rural setting quickly. Ezemaal is not one of the most frequently booked destinations, so this transfer is arranged on request, like any other route. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush hours, when the roads around Brussels are at their busiest. Bad weather can also slow things down.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle depends on how many people are travelling and how much luggage they carry.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business travellers with normal luggage.
• Private Minibus, 8 Seats: a good fit for a larger family or a group of friends with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus, 16 to 24 Seats: works for wedding parties, sports teams and mid-sized groups.
• Private Minibus, 32 to 48 Seats: intended for coach-sized groups, such as company events and organised tours.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up so everyone has room for their bags.

About Ezemaal

Ezemaal is a small village in the municipality of Landen, in the Flemish Brabant province of Belgium. The surroundings are agricultural and calm, which is quite a contrast to the busy airport you arrive from. Because it is a small place, it is worth having the exact street address ready for your driver, especially if you are staying at a private home or a rural property.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage. Go there directly after baggage reclaim and look for your name on the sign.
