Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Eschweiler

The drive to Eschweiler

The transfer from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Eschweiler covers 154 km (96 miles) and typically takes 1 h 41 m. The route leads east out of Belgium and across the border into Germany. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, or in heavy rain or winter weather. Eschweiler is a less frequently booked destination, but it is available on request like any other route.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the right vehicle

A Private Taxi suits one to four passengers and is the simplest choice for individual travellers, couples or small families. For groups with more luggage, the Private Minibus with 8 seats works well, and the 16-seat and 24-seat minibuses fit larger parties such as business delegations or sports teams. Very large groups can travel together in the 32, 40 or 48-seat minibuses, so nobody has to split up for the 1 h 41 m journey.

About Eschweiler

Eschweiler is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, in western Germany close to the city of Aachen. It has long been shaped by coal mining and industry, and today it is mainly a residential and commercial town in the Aachen region. Have the full street address ready when you book, so your driver can take you straight to the door.

Where to stay near Eschweiler

I cannot name well-known hotels in Eschweiler itself with confidence, so here are established options in the nearby city of Aachen:

• Pullman Aachen Quellenhof, a larger hotel near the city centre
• Mercure Hotel Aachen Europaplatz, a practical choice for business travellers
• Aquis Grana Cityhotel, in the historic old town

If your accommodation is in Aachen rather than Eschweiler, tell us when booking and we will set the drop-off there.
