Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ernage

The drive from Brussels Airport to Ernage

The route from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ernage covers 44 km (27 miles) and typically takes about 37 minutes. Ernage lies south-east of the capital in the Walloon part of Belgium, so the journey leaves the Brussels area and continues into quieter countryside. Allow extra time during the morning and evening rush hours, when the roads around Brussels are busiest, and in poor weather. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there without searching the arrivals hall.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the natural choice: one version seats 1-3 passengers, another seats 1-4. If your group is larger or you carry a lot of luggage, a private minibus with 8 seats gives you more room. Bigger parties such as wedding guests, company teams or sports groups can choose from minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so everyone travels together in one vehicle.
