Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Eppegem

The drive from BRU to Eppegem

Eppegem lies just 14 km (9 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the trip normally takes around 17 minutes. Because the route runs through the busy area north-east of Brussels, it is worth allowing some extra time during the morning and evening rush hours, or when there is heavy traffic on the ring road and its approach roads. Your driver tracks the conditions and picks the most suitable way, so you can settle in after your flight.

Choosing the right vehicle

This is not one of the most frequently booked routes, but the choice of vehicles is wide. A private taxi is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, which suits solo travellers, couples, families and small business groups with ordinary luggage. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. That makes the same short ride workable for a wedding party, a sports team, a company group or an event delegation, all travelling together instead of splitting up.

Eppegem as a destination

Eppegem is a village in the municipality of Zemst, in Flemish Brabant, between Brussels and Mechelen. It has a quiet, residential character, which is a clear contrast with the activity of the airport area. A door-to-door transfer is particularly convenient here, since you are taken straight to your address without having to plan connections for the last stretch. It is helpful to have the full street address and house number ready when you book.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go there directly and meet your driver without delay.
