Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ensival

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Ensival

The route covers 118 km (74 miles) and usually takes about 1 h 13 m by road. Ensival is not a high-volume destination, so this transfer is arranged on request, and your driver plans the trip around your arrival. Allow some extra time if you land during the weekday morning or late-afternoon peaks, when traffic around Brussels slows down. Roadworks and bad weather can also add minutes, particularly in winter.

Meeting Point

After collecting your luggage, head to Java Coffee House, which is easy to find from the arrivals area. Your driver waits there with a personalised name sign, so you can spot them straight away.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Pick the vehicle by group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, and small families.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or colleagues travelling together with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: for tour groups, clubs, and company teams.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for large delegations, school trips, and event groups travelling together in one vehicle.

If your group sits close to a vehicle's limit, choose the next size up. That leaves more room for suitcases and a more comfortable ride over the 1 h 13 m journey.

About Ensival

Ensival is a district of Verviers in the province of Liège, in eastern Wallonia. It was once a separate municipality and is now part of the Verviers urban area. The region is historically tied to the wool and textile industry along the Vesdre valley. It is a residential and local-business area rather than a major tourist destination. Give your driver the exact street address when you book, so the drop-off point is precise from the start.
