Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Enkhuizen

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can walk straight over without searching.

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Enkhuizen

The journey covers 261 km (163 miles) and typically takes 2 h 51 m, taking you from Belgium across the border into the Netherlands and up to the North Holland coast. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other transfer. Traffic around large cities can slow things down during weekday rush hours, so it is sensible to add a buffer if you have a hotel check-in, an appointment or a boat departure waiting for you. After a flight, a door-to-door ride also means no luggage handling on trains and no changes along the way.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suited to solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a comfortable option for a larger family or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: practical for tour groups, sports teams or wedding parties.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large groups, company events and organised trips where everyone should arrive together.

If you are unsure, choose the larger size when your group is close to a vehicle's limit, especially with suitcases or sports equipment.

About Enkhuizen

Enkhuizen is a historic harbour town on the IJsselmeer in the province of North Holland. It grew as a Zuiderzee port, and its old centre still has canals, a marina and well-preserved historic buildings. The town is well known for the Zuiderzeemuseum, which presents the region's maritime and fishing heritage, and for the Drommedaris, a landmark tower by the water. Enkhuizen is popular with day visitors, sailors and cyclists, and the compact centre is easy to explore on foot after you arrive.
