Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Engis

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and meet your driver without searching the terminal.

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Engis

Engis lies 93 km (58 miles) from the airport, and the typical driving time is 1 h 3 m. The route heads from the Brussels area towards the province of Liège and ends in the Meuse valley. Traffic around Brussels can be heavy at weekday rush hours, and the approach to the Liège area can also slow down at busy times. If you have a fixed appointment, it is sensible to plan some buffer on top of the usual driving time.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer. A private car means a direct trip from the airport to your address, without changing vehicles along the way.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle depends on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits individual travellers, couples, and small families or business groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or small groups with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: for team trips, events or mid-sized tour groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for large delegations, coach-style group travel and organised tours.

If you are close to the capacity of a vehicle and carry a lot of luggage, choose the next size up so everyone travels comfortably.

About Engis

Engis is a small municipality in the province of Liège, in Wallonia, set along the Meuse river between Liège and Huy. It is a quiet, largely residential area in a river valley, which makes it a practical base for visiting the wider Meuse region. As it is a small place, it is worth having the exact street address ready for your driver so the drop-off goes smoothly.
