Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Emelgem

The drive from Brussels Airport to Emelgem

Emelgem lies 105 km (66 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes about 1 h 21 m. The route heads west across Flanders, so most of the journey is on motorway. Allow extra time if you travel on weekday mornings or late afternoons, when traffic around Brussels is heaviest, or in bad weather. This route is booked less often than the big city transfers, but it is available on request like any other, and the driver tracks your arrival.

Choosing the right vehicle

Couples and small families fit comfortably in a Private Taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Choose the larger option if you travel with several suitcases. For groups, the Private Minibus range starts at 8 seats and continues with 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 seats. That makes the same route workable for a wedding party, a company outing or a sports team heading to the area. Pick the size by passenger count and luggage, not by passenger count alone.
