Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Elversele

The drive from Zaventem to Elversele

Elversele lies 50 km (32 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU), and the drive typically takes around 43 minutes. The route leaves the airport area and heads through Flanders towards the Waasland region. Most of the journey is on main roads. Brussels and its ring road can slow traffic at morning and evening rush hours, so allow some extra time if you have a connection or appointment to make. Elversele is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option. It comes in a 1-3 passenger and a 1-4 passenger version, so choose the one that matches your party and your luggage. Larger groups can book a private minibus. Sizes are 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 seats, which suits family gatherings, wedding parties, work teams and club outings. Everyone travels together in one vehicle, so nobody has to coordinate several cars or wait for the others.
