Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Elsum

The drive from Brussels Airport to Elsum

The transfer covers 85 km (53 miles) and typically takes around 58 minutes. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver takes you directly from the airport to your address in Elsum without changes or waiting for connections.

Brussels traffic can slow things down, especially on weekday mornings and late afternoons, and bad weather can add time too. If you have a fixed appointment, an event or a connecting plan at the other end, it is sensible to allow some extra margin beyond the standard driving time.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you pick depends mostly on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples and small families with standard luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) gives a fourth seat for a slightly larger party, so keep luggage volume in mind.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats is a comfortable choice for up to eight people or for smaller groups with a lot of bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats cover larger groups such as wedding parties, company teams, sports clubs and organised tours, with up to 48 passengers on one vehicle.

If you are travelling with bulky items such as sports equipment, musical instruments or prams, mention it when booking so that the right vehicle is assigned.

About Elsum

Elsum is a small destination in Belgium rather than a major tourist centre, so there is little in the way of big-city infrastructure. For that reason, travellers usually find it easiest to have a door-to-door ride arranged in advance. Make sure you have the exact street address or a clear landmark to give with your booking, since small places can be hard to pin down by name alone.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can head there straight away.
