Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Elsloo

The drive from Brussels Airport to Elsloo

Elsloo lies 108 km (68 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes 1 h 9 m. The route heads east across Belgium and over the border into the Dutch province of Limburg. Elsloo is not one of the most frequently requested destinations, but this transfer is available on request like any other. Traffic around the Brussels ring is heaviest on weekday mornings and late afternoons. Roadworks and bad weather can also slow the journey, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection at the other end.

Which vehicle fits your group

Smaller parties can choose a private taxi, with one option for up to 3 passengers and another for up to 4. For larger groups there are private minibuses with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. A family with several suitcases, a team of colleagues or a coach-sized tour group can each travel together in a single vehicle. Pick the size by passenger count, and if you carry a lot of luggage, consider going one size up for extra space.

Elsloo and where to stay nearby

Elsloo is a small village on the River Maas in South Limburg, close to Geleen, Sittard and Stein. It is a quiet, green area, and the riverside setting suits relaxed stays and walks. Elsloo itself has limited accommodation, so many visitors stay in Maastricht, a short drive to the south. Well-established choices there include:

• Kruisherenhotel Maastricht, a hotel in a former monastery
• Hotel Derlon, in the historic centre
• Grand Hotel de l'Empereur, near the Markt

Your driver can take you to Elsloo or to any of these addresses.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage. Head there and look for your name.
