Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Eksel

The drive from Brussels Airport to Eksel

Eksel lies 97 km (60 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport. The journey usually takes around 1 h 6 m by road. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver will know the way. Allow some extra time if you travel on a weekday during the morning or evening rush hour, or in heavy rain or winter weather, when traffic around Brussels can slow the first part of the trip. Because the transfer is private, there are no stops for other passengers and no connections to manage after a long flight.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle depends on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business visitors with ordinary luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 Seats: for tour groups, sports teams, company outings and wedding parties heading to the area together.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, pick the next size up so everyone has room for their luggage.
