Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Eel

The drive from Brussels Airport to Eel

The journey covers 95 km (59 miles) and typically takes 1 h 8 m. That is a comfortable length for a single door-to-door ride, with no need to change vehicles or work around timetables. Eel is not among the most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request like any other route.

The estimate assumes normal traffic. Around the Brussels ring road, the drive can take longer during the morning and evening rush hours, and bad weather can slow things down too. If you have a fixed appointment, a connection or a check-in deadline at the other end, it is wise to add a buffer to the standard driving time.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, and small families or groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats and 16 Seats: a good choice for larger families, friends travelling together or small business groups with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats: built for tour groups, teams, wedding parties and company events heading to the same address.

If you are unsure, pick the larger option when you have bulky luggage such as sports equipment or several suitcases per person.

About Eel as a destination

Eel is a small place in Belgium, so a private transfer is often the simplest way to get there from the airport. Public transport options for such destinations tend to be limited. Your driver takes you straight to the address you give at booking, which helps if you are visiting family, attending a local event or staying somewhere off the main routes. Please enter the exact street name and house number so the driver can plan the final stretch of the route.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can walk straight over without searching around the terminal.
