Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Edelare

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Edelare

Edelare lies 88 km (55 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes about 1 h 3 m. The route heads west out of the Brussels area towards East Flanders. The first stretch around the capital is the part most affected by traffic. If you land during the morning or late-afternoon rush hour, allow some extra time, especially when you have a connection or appointment soon after arrival. This route is booked less often than the big city transfers, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver will plan it as a door-to-door trip.

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go there directly and meet your driver without searching the terminal.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on your group size and how much luggage you carry:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) and Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) suit individual travellers, couples, families and small business groups.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats gives extra room for larger families or friends travelling with more bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats work for wedding parties, club outings and company teams.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats cover large groups, such as event guests or coach-style group travel, in one vehicle.

Choose a size up if you are travelling with sports gear, prams or oversized suitcases, so everyone rides comfortably over the roughly one-hour journey.
