Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Durnal

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Durnal

Durnal lies 85 km (53 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey by road normally takes about 56 minutes. The route leaves the Brussels area and continues south into the province of Namur, where the landscape becomes noticeably hillier and greener. Weekday rush hours around Brussels can slow the first part of the trip, so it is sensible to allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to make. Durnal is not one of our most frequently booked routes, but it is available on request like any other transfer.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Couples and small families will usually be comfortable in a private taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. The larger option is helpful if you travel with a few suitcases. For bigger parties, private minibuses are available with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This makes the route workable for wedding guests, family reunions, walking groups and company outings heading to the Bocq valley. Since luggage takes up space, it is worth choosing the next size up when your group is close to a vehicle's passenger limit.

About Durnal

Durnal is a small village in the municipality of Yvoir, in the Walloon province of Namur. It sits in the valley of the Bocq, a quiet and wooded area that attracts visitors who enjoy walking, cycling and a slower pace outside the cities. Expect a rural setting rather than a busy town centre, so it helps to have your exact address ready for the driver before you travel.
