Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Dottignies

The drive from Brussels Airport to Dottignies

The route covers 115 km (72 miles) and typically takes 1 h 16 m. You leave the Zaventem area and head west across Belgium towards the French border, so the trip is a fairly long one by Belgian standards. Dottignies is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route. Brussels traffic can slow things down at the start of the journey, especially on weekday mornings and late afternoons, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to catch.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller groups are well served by a private taxi, with options for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Four travellers with luggage will find the larger of the two more comfortable. For bigger parties, private minibuses are available with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This makes the route practical for families, business delegations, wedding guests or club trips. Choose a vehicle by the number of people and the amount of luggage, not just by headcount, so that everyone travels comfortably over the 115 km.
