Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Destelbergen

The drive from BRU to Destelbergen

The route covers 68 km (43 miles) and typically takes about 46 minutes. Destelbergen is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but it is available on request like any other. Most of the journey is on motorway, so the time is fairly predictable. Allow extra time during weekday rush hours, when traffic around the Brussels ring and on the approach to Ghent can slow down. If you have a tight connection or an early appointment, plan a small buffer.

Choosing the right vehicle

Solo travellers and couples are well served by a private taxi for up to 3 passengers. A taxi for up to 4 passengers gives a little more room for a small family with luggage. Larger groups can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so a family gathering, a wedding party or a company team can travel together in one vehicle. Choose the size by passenger count and by how much luggage you carry.
