Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to De Plank

The drive from Brussels Airport to De Plank

The transfer covers 121 km (76 miles) and typically takes 1 h 24 m by road. That makes it a proper journey rather than a short hop, so it helps to settle in and let the driver handle the route. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush around Brussels and the ring road, since congestion near the capital is the most common cause of delays. Bad weather can also add minutes, particularly in winter.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other. Your driver will know the destination in advance, so it is worth giving the exact address when you book.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can head there directly once you leave the baggage hall.

Which vehicle suits your group

For smaller parties, two private taxi options are available:

• Private Taxi for 1-3 passengers
• Private Taxi for 1-4 passengers

Choose the larger taxi if you are four people or travelling with a fair amount of luggage. Larger groups can book a private minibus, with these sizes on offer:

• Minibus 8 Seats for 1-8 passengers
• Minibus 16 Seats for 1-16 passengers
• Minibus 24 Seats for 1-24 passengers
• Minibus 32 Seats for 1-32 passengers
• Minibus 40 Seats for 1-40 passengers
• Minibus 48 Seats for 1-48 passengers

Pick the size that matches your headcount plus luggage rather than the bare minimum. On a journey of almost an hour and a half, extra space makes a noticeable difference to comfort. Families, work teams, club trips and event groups all travel this way, and everyone arrives together at the same door.

About De Plank

De Plank is a small place in Belgium, and a private transfer is often the most straightforward way to reach it directly from the airport. Because smaller destinations can have narrow or less obvious access roads, a driver who has the address ahead of time saves you the hassle of navigating after a flight. Whether you are visiting friends, family or a local venue, you are taken from the arrivals area to your final stop without changes or waiting for connections.
