Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Cugnon

The drive from Brussels Airport to Cugnon

Cugnon lies 156 km (97 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes 1 h 41 m. The route leads south-east across Belgium towards the Ardennes, so the last part of the journey runs on quieter regional roads rather than motorway. Allow extra time during the weekday morning and evening rush around Brussels, and in winter, when rain, fog or snow can slow traffic in the Ardennes. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other.

Which vehicle suits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice: there are versions for 1-3 and for 1-4 passengers. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Groups such as extended families, hiking clubs or wedding guests can therefore travel together in one vehicle. If you are carrying a lot of luggage, bikes or sports gear, choose the next size up for extra space.

About Cugnon

Cugnon is a small village in the province of Luxembourg, in the Belgian Ardennes, close to the Semois valley. The surroundings are wooded and hilly, and the area is popular with people who come for walking, cycling and a quiet stay in the countryside. Expect a rural setting rather than a busy town centre.

Places to stay near Cugnon

I cannot name accommodations in Cugnon itself with confidence, so here are established options in the nearby town of Bouillon, a short drive away:

• Hôtel de la Poste, a long-standing hotel in the centre of Bouillon
• Hôtel Panorama, a hotel in Bouillon
• Auberge d'Alsace, a traditional inn in Bouillon

Check the exact location with your host before booking, so your driver has the right drop-off address.
