Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Crawhez

The drive from Brussels Zaventem to Crawhez

The transfer covers 119 km (74 miles) and typically takes about 1 h 16 m by road. That estimate assumes normal traffic conditions. Leaving the Zaventem area during the morning or evening rush around Brussels can add time, and so can heavy rain or winter weather, so build in a buffer if you have a fixed appointment, a check-in time or an event at the other end. Because the route is booked on request rather than as a daily regular, it is worth confirming your details a little ahead of your travel date.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the natural choice. There are taxis for 1-3 passengers and for 1-4 passengers, so pick the larger one if you are travelling with bulky suitcases or a child seat situation that needs extra room.

Larger parties are covered by the minibus range:

• 8 seats: bigger families or small groups of friends with plenty of luggage
• 16 and 24 seats: business teams, wedding guests or club trips
• 32, 40 and 48 seats: tour groups, conference delegations and large events

Count your passengers and your bags together, and choose the size that leaves everyone comfortable for a journey of well over an hour.

About Crawhez

Crawhez is a small place in Belgium, not a major town with its own transport hub. That is one more reason to arrange a door-to-door transfer: you are driven to your exact address instead of working out onward connections at the end of a flight. Have the full address, and ideally a contact phone number for your host or accommodation, ready when you book, so the final stretch of the journey goes smoothly, especially if the street is narrow or hard to find.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.
