Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Couillet

The drive from Zaventem to Couillet

Couillet lies 75 km (47 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 53 minutes. The route leads south-west across Belgium towards Charleroi, so most of the journey is on motorway. Traffic around the Brussels ring road can slow things down, especially on weekday mornings and late afternoons, so it is sensible to add some buffer if you have a tight appointment or a connection at the other end. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option. It is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, so check how much luggage you have before choosing the larger one. Groups travelling together can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This works well for business delegations, wedding parties, sports teams and school or club trips, as everyone arrives together and the luggage travels with you.

About Couillet

Couillet is a district of Charleroi in the province of Hainaut, in Wallonia. It was once a separate municipality and became part of Charleroi in the 1977 merger. It is a mainly residential area, so most visitors come to see family, to work in the Charleroi region or to stay nearby while visiting the city. A door-to-door transfer is practical here, because you are taken straight to your address instead of having to reach it from a station.
