Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Chic Cocoon Center, Brussels

The drive from Zaventem to Chic Cocoon Center

The route from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Chic Cocoon Center covers about 16 km (10 miles) and usually takes around 24 minutes. That is a short ride by airport standards, so you can be at your destination soon after landing. Because the road leads into the Brussels area, traffic can build up during the morning and late-afternoon rush hours. If you have an appointment or a booking with a fixed time, it is sensible to allow some extra margin on those days. This route is booked less often than the big city-centre runs, but it is available on request just like any other.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice. It is offered for 1-3 passengers or 1-4 passengers, so check the luggage you carry before you pick one. Larger groups can book a private minibus. The 8-seat minibus suits a group of friends or a family with several suitcases. The 16-seat and 24-seat options work well for business delegations and tour parties. For bigger events or conferences, minibuses with 32, 40, 48, 56 or 64 seats keep everyone in one vehicle, so the whole group arrives together.

Chic Cocoon Center and places to stay in Brussels

Chic Cocoon Center is a destination within Brussels, the Belgian capital and the seat of the European institutions. Beyond that, we keep the description general and suggest you check the exact address on your booking before you travel. If you are still looking for a place to sleep in the city, three long-established hotels in central Brussels are worth a look. These are general suggestions in the city and not necessarily next to the Center:

• Hotel Metropole, a historic 19th-century hotel on Place De Brouckère
• Hotel Amigo, a well-known address close to the Grand-Place
• Warwick Brussels, also located near the Grand-Place
