Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Chanxhe

The drive from Brussels Airport to Chanxhe

Chanxhe lies 119 km (74 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey normally takes about 1 h 18 m. The route heads east across Belgium towards the Liège area, and the last part of the trip leads into the quieter countryside of the Ourthe valley. Chanxhe is not one of our most requested destinations, but transfers here are available on request just like any other route. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late afternoon rush around Brussels, or if you have a tight onward commitment after arrival. The same applies in bad winter weather, when traffic moves more slowly.

Which vehicle suits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a Private Taxi is the simplest option. It is available for 1-3 passengers or for 1-4 passengers, and the larger version gives a little more room when you travel with several suitcases. Larger parties can choose a private minibus, which keeps everyone together in one vehicle for the whole trip:

• Minibus 8 Seats for up to 8 passengers
• Minibus 16 Seats for up to 16 passengers
• Minibus 24 Seats for up to 24 passengers
• Minibus 32 Seats for up to 32 passengers
• Minibus 40 Seats for up to 40 passengers
• Minibus 48 Seats for up to 48 passengers

Pick the vehicle by the number of people and the amount of luggage. If your group is close to the upper limit of a size, the next size up is usually the more comfortable choice.

About Chanxhe

Chanxhe is a small village on the Ourthe river, part of the municipality of Esneux in the province of Liège. The setting is green and hilly, with wooded slopes along the valley, and the area is generally known for walks and outdoor leisure rather than for city sights. The village is quiet, so it helps to have your exact address or the name of your accommodation ready for the driver.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go there directly and meet your driver without delay.
