Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Cerfontaine

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Cerfontaine

The route covers 103 km (65 miles) and typically takes 1 h 23 m. You leave the Zaventem area, pass around Brussels and continue south through Wallonia toward the province of Namur. The last stretch runs on smaller roads through a green, hilly landscape.

Traffic around the Brussels ring road is the main variable. On weekday mornings and late afternoons it is worth allowing extra time, especially if you have a tight onward plan such as a hotel check-in or a booked activity.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Couples and small families usually travel in a Private Taxi, offered for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. The 4-passenger option suits a family with a few suitcases.

Larger parties can choose from a range of private minibuses:

• 8 seats: groups of friends or extended families
• 16 and 24 seats: club trips, wedding guests or small corporate groups
• 32, 40 and 48 seats: large tour groups and organised events

If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, sports equipment or camping gear, it is sensible to pick the next size up.

About Cerfontaine

Cerfontaine is a small municipality in the province of Namur, in the French-speaking south of Belgium. It lies in a quiet, rural setting close to the Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure, a well-known lake area for water sports, walking and cycling. Travellers heading there are usually looking for nature and a slower pace rather than city sightseeing, so a direct private transfer saves a lot of hassle after a flight.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.
