Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Burtonville

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you collect your luggage, so you can head straight there from baggage reclaim.

The Drive to Burtonville

Burtonville lies 165 km (103 miles) from the airport, and the journey typically takes 1 h 49 m. This is a long transfer, and the final stretch leads away from the main motorways onto quieter regional roads. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, or in winter, when rain, fog or snow can slow traffic in the Ardennes. Because the route is booked less often than the big city connections, it is arranged on request, so it is worth booking ahead rather than waiting until you land.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match your group size and your luggage, especially on a ride of nearly two hours.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24 and 32 Seats: work well for holiday groups, clubs and company outings.
• Private Minibus 40 and 48 Seats: made for big parties, school trips and events where everyone should arrive together.

If you are close to a vehicle's limit, choose the next size up, so nobody is squeezed in for the long drive.

About Burtonville

Burtonville is a small village in the Ardennes region of Belgium. It is a quiet rural spot surrounded by woods and hills, so it suits visitors looking for countryside, walking and a break from the city. Facilities are limited in a place this size, so it helps to have your exact address ready for the driver and to plan your arrival around check-in times.
