Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Buret

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Buret

The route covers 169 km (106 miles) and typically takes 1 h 49 m. You leave the Brussels area first and then continue south-east towards the Ardennes, where the landscape turns hillier and more wooded. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels. In winter, weather in the Ardennes can also slow the final stretch. Because the trip is a long one, a private transfer saves you from planning several connections with luggage.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Couples, solo travellers and small families usually fit into a private taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. The 1-4 option is the better choice if you carry a lot of luggage or travel with four people.

For larger parties, there are private minibuses with the following capacities:

• 8 seats for extended families or small friend groups
• 16 and 24 seats for group holidays, clubs and team trips
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for large groups, events and coach-sized parties

Buret is a less frequently booked route, so it is available on request like any other. It is best to state your group size and luggage when you book so the right vehicle is assigned.

Buret as a Destination

Buret is a small village in the Belgian Ardennes, in the municipality of Houffalize. This is quiet, green countryside, popular with walkers, cyclists and anyone who wants a break from city life. Since the village is small and rural, give your driver the exact address or the name of your accommodation in advance, so the final kilometres go smoothly after dark or in poor weather.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport with a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.
