Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Brustem

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Brustem

Brustem lies 64 km (40 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 52 minutes. The route heads east out of the Brussels area into Limburg province. Traffic around the capital can slow things down on weekday mornings and late afternoons, so it is worth allowing some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to make. This route is booked less often than the busiest airport runs, but it is available on request just like any other.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For smaller parties, a private taxi is available for either 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, which suits solo travellers, couples and families with standard luggage. Larger groups can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This is useful for wedding parties, company teams, sports clubs or family gatherings who want to arrive together in one vehicle. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, pick the next size up so everyone has room.
