Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Branchon

The drive from BRU to Branchon

Branchon lies 66 km (41 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 48 minutes. The route leaves the airport area and continues on Belgian motorways before finishing on smaller local roads. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other transfer.

Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or late-afternoon rush hour, when the Brussels ring and the main roads around it are often busy. Bad weather in winter can also slow the final stretch on rural roads. If you have a fixed appointment or a connecting booking, it helps to plan a comfortable buffer.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller groups are well served by a private taxi, with options for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Check your luggage as well as your headcount, since four people with large suitcases will need more room than the seat count suggests.

For larger parties, private minibuses are available with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. They suit families travelling together, wedding guests, business groups and organised tours. Having one vehicle for the whole group keeps everyone together and means a single arrival time at the destination.

About Branchon

Branchon is a small village in the Belgian countryside, so expect a quiet, rural setting rather than a busy town centre. It is best to have the exact address ready, since smaller places often have narrow lanes and few landmarks. Sharing the full address when you book helps the driver plan the final part of the journey.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House at Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can head there directly and meet your driver without delay.
