Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Bougnimont

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU), holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so there is no need to search the terminal for your driver.

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Bougnimont

The journey covers 154 km (96 miles) and typically takes 1 h 41 m by road. That is a fairly long transfer, and it is worth allowing some extra time if you travel during weekday rush hours around Brussels, when traffic near the airport and on the main motorways can slow things down. Wet or wintry weather can also add time, especially on the smaller roads towards the end of the trip. Bougnimont is not a commonly requested destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route, and your driver will plan the route for you.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Since this is a longer ride, comfort and luggage space matter. The following options are available:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suited to individual travellers, couples and small families with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for groups of up to 8 who want to travel together with their bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24 and 32 Seats: for larger parties such as extended families, wedding guests or company teams.
• Private Minibus 40 and 48 Seats: for big groups travelling in a single vehicle, up to 48 passengers.

If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, sports equipment or child seats, it is sensible to choose the next size up, particularly given the length of the drive.

About Bougnimont

Bougnimont is a small place in Belgium, and the surrounding area is generally quiet and rural rather than urban. Visitors usually come to stay with family, attend a private event or explore the countryside at a slower pace. Because small villages can have addresses that are hard to find, it helps to give the exact drop-off address or a nearby landmark when you book, so that your driver can take you directly to the door.
