Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Borsbeek

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there after baggage reclaim.

The Drive from BRU to Borsbeek

Borsbeek lies 42 km (27 miles) from the airport, and the trip normally takes about 34 minutes. The route runs north towards the Antwerp area, so the main variable is traffic on the Brussels ring and the approach to Antwerp. On weekday mornings and late afternoons it makes sense to allow some extra time, especially if you have a meeting, a check-in or an appointment to reach. Outside those hours the road is usually much calmer.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Borsbeek is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route. The vehicle options are:

• Private Taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, suited to solo travellers, couples and small families with luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats for groups of up to 8.
• Private Minibus 16 or 24 Seats for larger family gatherings, teams or event guests.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 or 48 Seats for big groups travelling together, such as conference delegates or tour parties.

If your group is close to the limit of a vehicle, or you carry a lot of luggage, choose the next size up for more comfort.

About Borsbeek

Borsbeek is a small, mainly residential municipality in the province of Antwerp, right next to the city of Antwerp itself. Most visitors come to see family, to work in the Antwerp region or to use it as a quieter base close to the city. Because it borders Antwerp, the centre of the city is only a short onward ride away.

Where to Stay Near Borsbeek

Borsbeek itself is small, so most visitors look for accommodation in neighbouring Antwerp, which is right next door. Well-established options there include:

• Hilton Antwerp Old Town, in the historic centre near Groenplaats.
• Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel, close to Antwerp-Central station.
• Crowne Plaza Antwerp, a large hotel on the southern side of the city.

Give your driver the full address of your hotel or accommodation when you book, so the drop-off goes smoothly.
