Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Boorsem

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Boorsem

The transfer covers 104 km (65 miles) and typically takes 1 h 7 m. The route leads east from Zaventem into the province of Limburg, so it is mostly a motorway journey with few stops. Boorsem is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time on weekday mornings and late afternoons, when traffic around Brussels is heaviest, and in wintry weather. If you have a tight connection or an appointment on arrival, build in a margin.

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match the size of your group and the amount of luggage you carry.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, and small families. Choose the 4-passenger version if you have a few extra bags.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or small groups with plenty of luggage.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: work well for club outings, wedding parties, and business groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40, and 48 Seats: intended for large delegations, tour groups, and events where everyone should arrive together.

A single vehicle for the whole party is usually simpler than splitting up, since everyone arrives at the same time and place.

About Boorsem

Boorsem is a small village in the municipality of Maasmechelen, in the Belgian province of Limburg. The area is quiet and green, close to the Dutch border and the Meuse valley. Nearby Maasmechelen is known for its outlet shopping village and for access to the Hoge Kempen National Park. Visitors usually come to explore the surrounding countryside, to shop, or to visit family and friends. A pre-booked private transfer is the most practical way to reach a village like this directly from the airport, without having to plan connections on the way.
