Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Bonnerue

The drive from Brussels Airport to Bonnerue

Bonnerue lies 153 km (96 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes about 1 h 42 m. The first part of the route leads around the Brussels region and then south-east towards the Ardennes, where the roads become quieter and more winding. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour around Brussels. In winter, snow or fog in the Ardennes can also slow the final stretch. This route is booked less often than the busiest airport transfers, but it is available on request like any other.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller groups can choose a private taxi, with one option for up to 3 passengers and one for up to 4. Families or friends travelling with a lot of luggage may find the 4-passenger car or a minibus more comfortable. For larger parties, private minibuses are available with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This makes the route workable for a group holiday, a family reunion, a cycling or hiking trip, or a company event in the Ardennes. Pick the vehicle by the number of travellers and the amount of luggage, so everyone has enough room for the 1 h 42 m ride.

Bonnerue as a destination

Bonnerue is a small village in the Belgian Ardennes, in the Houffalize area. The region is known for its forests, hills and valleys, and many visitors come for walking, cycling and quiet countryside stays. The village itself is small, so it is useful to have the exact address of your accommodation ready. Your driver can then take you directly to the door, which matters in a rural area where onward public transport is limited.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up quickly and start the journey without delay.
