Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Blaton

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Blaton

Blaton lies 100 km (63 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport. The typical driving time is 1 h 8 m. The route heads south-west from the airport, first around the Brussels ring road and then into the province of Hainaut. The Brussels ring is the most likely place to lose time. On weekday mornings and late afternoons, or in bad weather, it is sensible to allow extra time, especially if you have a connection or appointment after arrival. Blaton is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but it is available on request like any other route, and the transfer is arranged as a private journey from door to door.

Meeting Point at the Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. After collecting your luggage, the spot is easy to find.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For smaller parties, a private taxi is available for 1-3 passengers or for 1-4 passengers. The larger option is the better pick if you are travelling with four people or carrying several suitcases. Groups of up to eight can book a private minibus with 8 seats. Larger parties, such as families travelling together, wedding guests or company teams, can choose a minibus with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Matching the vehicle to your group size and luggage means everyone travels together in one vehicle. On a journey of just over an hour, that also keeps the arrival simple for everyone.

About Blaton

Blaton is a village in the Walloon province of Hainaut, close to the French border. It belongs to the municipality of Bernissart, which is widely known for the Iguanodon fossils discovered there in the 19th century. The area is quiet and largely rural, with a canal running nearby. Because it is small, it is worth having the exact address ready when you book, so the driver can take you straight to the right door.
