Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Bissen

The drive from Brussels Airport to Bissen

The route covers 197 km (123 miles) and typically takes 2 h 18 m. You leave Belgium and arrive in the centre of Luxembourg, so this is a proper long-distance transfer rather than a short hop. Bissen is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but it is available on request just like any other route. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, or in poor weather, as these can stretch the journey beyond the typical figure. A private transfer means you can sit back after your flight and go straight to your door without changing vehicles.

Which vehicle suits your group

For couples, solo travellers and small families, a private taxi is the natural choice. We offer one for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers, so check your luggage as well as your headcount before choosing. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. These suit family gatherings, wedding guests, business delegations and other groups who want to arrive together. With a journey of over two hours, extra space for bags and legroom is worth considering, so it is better to size up than to squeeze in.

Bissen as a destination

Bissen is a small village in central Luxembourg, in the canton of Mersch. It is a quiet, rural setting, quite different from the capital, and a good base for visitors who want a calmer stay in the Grand Duchy. Because it is a smaller place, it helps to have the exact street address of your destination ready when you book, so the driver can take you straight there without any detours.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can head there directly after baggage reclaim.
