Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Bierges

The drive from Brussels Airport to Bierges

Bierges lies 27 km (17 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey normally takes about 24 minutes by road. The route is booked only occasionally, so your driver is assigned specifically to your arrival and not shared with other passengers. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late afternoon rush, when traffic around Brussels slows down. Wet weather and roadworks can also add a few minutes, so do not plan a tight connection right after landing.

Which vehicle fits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice, with options for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. If you carry several suitcases or sports equipment, the 4-passenger taxi leaves a little more room to spread out. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This suits school trips, wedding guests, company teams and club outings arriving on the same flight, and everyone travels together in one vehicle.

Bierges as a destination

Bierges is a village in the municipality of Wavre, in the province of Walloon Brabant. It is best known as the home of the Walibi Belgium theme park, so many visitors arrive here for a family day out. The surroundings are mostly residential and green, and Wavre itself is close by for shops and restaurants. Tell us the exact address when you book, so the driver can take you to the door.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you collect your luggage, so you can go straight there once you leave the baggage hall.
