Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Biercée

The drive from Zaventem to Biercée

Biercée lies 90 km (56 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 1 h 5 m. The route leaves the Brussels area and continues south into Wallonia, so the first part of the trip depends largely on traffic around the capital. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours on the ring and the approach roads can add time, as can bad weather. If you have a fixed appointment or a connection to catch, it is sensible to allow a buffer beyond the standard journey time.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer, and the trip is made door to door without changes or waiting for connections.

Choosing the right vehicle

For couples, solo travellers and small families, a private taxi is the natural choice: there is a version for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers. Pick the larger one if you are travelling with four people or carrying a lot of luggage.

Larger parties can book a private minibus. The 8-seat minibus suits extended families or small business groups, while the 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48-seat minibuses cover wedding parties, club outings, school groups and company events of up to 48 passengers. When booking, choose the vehicle by the number of people and consider the amount of luggage as well.

About Biercée

Biercée is a village in the municipality of Thuin, in the province of Hainaut in Wallonia. It is a quiet, rural place rather than a major tourist hub, so most visitors come to see family and friends, attend a private event or explore the surrounding countryside. Because public information about individual addresses in small villages can be limited, it helps to have the exact street name or a pin location ready for your driver.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up without a long walk through the terminal.
