Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Besinne

The drive from Brussels Zaventem to Besinne

The road distance between Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) and Besinne is 84 km (53 miles). Under normal conditions the journey takes around 1 h 3 m. Most of the route runs on motorway before it switches to smaller roads near the destination, so the last stretch is usually the slowest part.

Brussels is one of Belgium's busiest areas at rush hour, so leaving the airport area on a weekday morning or late afternoon can take longer than the standard estimate. If you have a tight onward commitment, such as a meeting or a check-in deadline, build in a little extra time. Besinne is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Which vehicle fits your group

The vehicle you need depends mainly on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: for wedding parties, club outings and mid-sized groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for large groups, events and organised tours that want to arrive together in one vehicle.

If your group is close to the upper limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up. Suitcases and sports equipment take space that is easy to underestimate.
