Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Bertrée

The drive from Brussels Airport to Bertrée

Bertrée lies 57 km (36 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes around 37 minutes. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush, when the roads around Brussels and the Ring are busiest. Bad weather can also slow things down, so build in some margin if you have a tight onward commitment.

Which vehicle fits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice, with options for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This suits wedding guests, business groups or relatives arriving together. When you book, count everyone in your party and think about how much luggage you carry, so the vehicle is comfortable for the whole trip.

Bertrée as a destination

Bertrée is a small, quiet village in the rural Hesbaye region of Belgium, surrounded mostly by open farmland. It is not a tourist hub, so most visitors come to see family, attend a local event or reach a countryside address. A private transfer is a practical option here, since the village is far easier to reach by car than by a chain of local connections. Keep the exact street address handy when you book, as that helps your driver find the right door.

Meeting point at the airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you collect your luggage, so you can walk straight there once you have your bags.
