Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Berlingen

The Drive from BRU to Berlingen

Berlingen lies 71 km (44 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes around 1 hour. Most of the route is on motorway before it turns onto smaller regional roads for the last stretch. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours around Brussels can slow the first part of the trip, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to make. This route is booked less often than the busiest airport transfers, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver will plan it as a direct private ride with no stops for other passengers.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so there is no need to search the terminal. Go there once you are through baggage reclaim and look for your name.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with standard luggage. Choose the 4-passenger option if you want a little more room.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for wedding parties, company groups, sports teams and organised tours. Pick the size that matches your headcount.

If you are unsure, choose the next size up when you have a lot of luggage, such as sports equipment or several large suitcases.

About Berlingen

Berlingen is a small village in the Belgian countryside. You will find a quiet, rural setting rather than the services of a large town. Because of this, it helps to have the exact street address or a clear landmark ready when you book, so your driver can take you straight to the door. A private transfer is a practical way to get there, since a small place like this is not always easy to reach on a tight schedule by other means.
