Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Berlaar

The drive from BRU to Berlaar

Berlaar lies 42 km (26 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 40 minutes. That makes it a comfortable transfer after a flight, with no need to work out connections while carrying luggage. It is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so you can arrange it in advance for any arrival time.

Traffic around Brussels is the main variable. Weekday morning and late afternoon hours are the busiest, so if you have a tight appointment in Berlaar, allow some extra time on top of the usual 40 minutes. Heavy rain or roadworks can also slow the journey slightly.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on your group size and how much luggage you carry:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suited to individual travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats: practical for company groups, sports teams or wedding parties.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for large delegations, tour groups and events where everyone should arrive together.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up. Passengers and their luggage then have more space.
