Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Beringen

The drive from Zaventem to Beringen

The route covers 73 km (46 miles) and typically takes about 51 minutes. It leads from the airport area eastward into the province of Limburg. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hours, when traffic around Brussels and on the main motorways tends to slow down. Bad weather can also add some minutes, so it is sensible not to plan a very tight schedule after landing.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport

Choosing the right vehicle

For individual travellers and couples, a private taxi for 1-3 passengers is usually enough. A taxi for 1-4 passengers gives a little more room for a small family or extra bags. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, each available for groups up to that number of passengers. This range suits company teams, sports clubs, wedding guests and school or tour groups travelling together to Beringen.

• 1-4 passengers: private taxi
• 5-8 passengers: minibus with 8 seats
• 9-48 passengers: minibus with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, depending on group size

About Beringen

Beringen is a municipality in the Belgian province of Limburg. It is known for its coal-mining history, and the former mine site is today a heritage and cultural area. The town is a quiet, mostly residential destination, which makes a door-to-door transfer a convenient way to arrive, especially after a long flight. Beringen is an occasionally booked route, so it is worth reserving your transfer in advance and giving the driver your exact destination address.
