Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Bergheim

The drive from Brussels Airport to Bergheim

The route covers 869 km (540 miles) and typically takes 9 h 15 m of driving time. It is a full day on the road, so this is a journey to plan around rather than squeeze in. Bookings for this route are less frequent than for the usual city transfers, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time for rest stops, heavy traffic around large cities and on holiday weekends, and winter weather as you approach the Alps. A private transfer lets you stop when you need to and avoids the several train changes a public connection would involve.

Choosing the right vehicle

The Private Taxi suits 1 to 4 passengers and is the most comfortable option for a small party on such a long trip. Families or groups with a lot of luggage can move up to the Private Minibus with 8 seats. For larger parties, minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats are available, which works well for tour groups, sports teams, wedding guests or company trips. On a journey of this length, it is worth choosing a vehicle with some spare room for bags and for stretching out.
