Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Berg

The drive from BRU to Berg

Berg lies 12 km (8 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes around 14 minutes. That makes it a short hop, but it is not one of our most frequently booked routes. We arrange it on request just as we would any other transfer. The journey runs mostly on regional roads on the northern side of the airport. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours around Brussels can slow the traffic, so allow some extra time if you have a tight connection or an appointment waiting at the other end.

Choosing the right vehicle

Couples, solo travellers and small families usually fit into a private taxi, which is available for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. If you travel with several suitcases, the 4-passenger option gives you more breathing room. Larger parties can move together in a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This works well for family gatherings, wedding guests, business delegations or club trips, since everyone arrives at the same time and nobody has to coordinate separate cars. Pick the vehicle by headcount and luggage, and the driver takes care of the rest.

Berg as a destination

Berg is a small village in Flemish Brabant and part of the municipality of Kampenhout. It is a quiet, mainly residential place with a rural feel, far from the bustle of the airport area. Most visitors come to see family, to attend a local event or for business in the surrounding villages. Give the driver the exact street address when you book, so that the drop-off goes smoothly in a place with few landmarks.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.
