Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Belsele

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Belsele

Belsele lies 52 km (33 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes about 45 minutes. The route heads north-west out of the Brussels area towards East Flanders, so most of the journey is on motorway. Belsele is booked less often than the big city routes, but the transfer is available on request like any other. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hours, when traffic around Brussels and on the approach roads to the Waasland region can slow things down. If you have a fixed appointment or a connection at the other end, build in a comfortable buffer.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there without searching the arrivals hall.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you pick depends on your group size and how much luggage you carry:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling together with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: work well for wedding guests, sports teams and company groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large groups, tour parties and events, so everyone arrives together.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up so everyone has room for luggage.

About Belsele

It has a quiet, residential character, with the larger town of Sint-Niklaas close by for shops, restaurants and services.
