Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Bellegem

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU), holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and meet your driver.

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Bellegem

Bellegem lies 106 km (66 miles) from the airport, and the trip normally takes about 1 h 10 m by road. The route leaves the Brussels area and heads west into West Flanders. Allow extra time on weekday mornings and late afternoons, when traffic around Brussels is heaviest. Bad weather can also slow the journey. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so you can arrange it ahead of your arrival.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Pick the vehicle by group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, suited to solo travellers, couples and small families.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats or 16 Seats for larger families, friends travelling together, or groups with plenty of bags.
• Private Minibus 24, 32, 40 or 48 Seats for tour groups, wedding parties, teams and company events travelling together.

If you are close to a vehicle's passenger limit and carry a lot of luggage, choose the next size up.

About Bellegem

Bellegem is a village in West Flanders and part of the city of Kortrijk. It has a quiet, rural character, with fields and small roads around it, and Kortrijk's shops, restaurants and rail connections are close by. Because it is a small place, give your driver the exact street address when you book so the drop-off is precise.

Where to Stay Near Bellegem

Bellegem itself has little in the way of well-known hotels, so most visitors stay in nearby Kortrijk. Two established options there are Hotel Messeyne, a boutique hotel in the historic centre, and Parkhotel Kortrijk, a larger hotel popular with business and leisure guests. Both are a short drive from Bellegem, and your driver can take you directly to either one.
