Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Beerzel

The drive from BRU to Beerzel

Beerzel lies 40 km (25 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes around 35 minutes. The route heads north-west away from the airport and on towards the province of Antwerp. Weekday morning and late-afternoon traffic around Brussels can slow things down, so allow some extra time if you have a tight connection or an appointment on arrival.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option, with a choice between a 1-3 passenger and a 1-4 passenger car. Larger groups can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Pick the size by the number of people and the amount of luggage, and choose the next size up if you are carrying bulky bags or sports equipment.

About Beerzel

Beerzel is a village in the municipality of Putte, in the province of Antwerp. It is a quiet, largely residential place in the countryside between Mechelen and the Antwerp area. As it is small, a door-to-door private transfer is usually more practical than piecing together a journey from the airport on your own.

Planning the arrival

Because the car takes you straight to your address, there are no changes or timetables to work around. Give the exact street name and house number when you book, as village addresses can be harder to locate than city ones. If you are arriving late in the evening, the quiet roads around Beerzel mean the last part of the trip is usually smooth.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go there directly from the baggage hall.
