Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Beerse

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can get your bearings without any rush.

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Beerse

Beerse lies 79 km (49 miles) from the airport, and the journey usually takes about 53 minutes. The route heads north-east towards the province of Antwerp and the Kempen region. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so a private transfer can be arranged for your dates.

Brussels' ring road and the motorways around Antwerp are busy at weekday rush hours, in the morning and late afternoon. If you have a fixed appointment in Beerse, allow some extra time during those periods. Bad weather can also slow traffic, particularly in winter.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Smaller groups are well served by a private taxi. There is a choice between a car for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers. The second option gives a little more room for four people travelling with suitcases.

Larger parties can choose a private minibus:

• 8 seats for families or small business groups
• 16 seats for mid-sized teams or friends travelling together
• 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats for conference delegations, school trips, sports clubs and other large groups

Count your luggage as well as your passengers when you choose. A group with many large bags may be more comfortable in the next size up.
